I was over the moon when I discovered that finally they have opened a location in Newmarket. This location is a take out express location at the moment. I really really hope they expand and have a dine in soon.

We're absolutely delighted to have this Indian restaurant and sweets shop open in Newmarket. Btw, google maps shows incorrect location. It's on the other side of the same plaza next to News and Convinience. Tried their chole bhature and paneer parkora. Both were excellent. Bhature were fresh. We'll be back to try their other menu items. They have Monday and Tuesday specials that we'd love to try.

Finally! The True North has an amazing Indian Restaurant. I’m not East Indian but I like authentic Indian food. Fresh. Tastes homemade. The naan is made on the spot. The rice is fresh and steamy. They just opened and are learning the ropes but they will get there. They’re really busy and it’s understandable. I’ve been back 3 times in 10 days and I’ll visit again for sure. They are friendly and nice. Yes, a bit slow and still figuring out customer service but I’m forgiving due to their new opening as they get used to the customer traffic and business logistics. They were kind to cater to my individual needs by giving me dishes with no dairy and/or sugar. Thank you, Rajdhani, for making me feel special and offering me options for a happy, comfortable experience. Be prepared to wait up to half an hour but once you taste how delicious the food, you’ll know it’s worth the wait. The Indian sweets are truly authentic and delicious!! (Drooling)

I visited this restaurant today. I had sweets for diwali for my sister in law. She like the sweets. The taste of the sweets is same as India. this made us remember our backhome. Customer service really appreciated.
